A massive thank you to all year 4 children and parents for your support with Earl Shilton in Bloom. The judges were blown away with our creations and we also got a wonderful write-up in the Hinckley Times.
Look what we have achieved already and the year has not even started yet!
Welcome to our wonderful world of elephants, tigers, mountain goddesses, pirates and fire-fiends.
Class 4 will be going on a journey of discovery as they read the story of Lila , the firework maker's daughter.
We are using Rising Stars to teach maths mastery.
We will be uncovering in depth about William the Conqueror’s
reign from 1066 onwards, how King John made himself very
unpopular as monarch and why King Henry VIII married so many times. We will understand who Queen Anne was, what
Queen Victoria achieved during her reign and look at the role of the British monarchy today.
WHAT IS MEANT BY THE BRITISH EMPIRE?
WHY DID KING HENRY VIII WANT AN HEIR?
WHO IS WHO IN OUR ROYAL FAMILY TODAY?
How can we prevent decay?
Why do we have different types of teeth?
Can you name the teeth in your mouth?
What happens to our food when we eat?
How does our digestive system work?
Big Question: Where do I come from?

What do you think it means to be part of Jesus' family tree?
