What a scorcher of a week! Our 'Bubble' children have enjoyed their outside learning this week and 'Frozen Friday' has gone down well! We had a lovely occasion on Thursday when it was Brendon Wright's birthday. He opened gifts outside while the staff and children sang a socially distanced 'Happy Birthday cha cha cha!!!!!!' We did what we could to make his lockdown birthday special.

Amelia

Mrs Woolman and Mrs Smith would like to say a big well done to Jasmira for settling into Year 1 Bubble 2 so well and for working very hard!
Finley and Eva from Year 1 both took home some pea seeds to plant at the start of lockdown, and they have taken such care of them that they have both had pods of peas grow on their plants!

Amelia, Errol, Ronan, Alfie, William PW and Finley from Year 1 decided to make models of Kylie Minogue out of their Play-Doh this week! We sent a picture of our models to Kylie herself to see what she thinks (we’re still waiting to hear back from her!)

A shout out to James and Edward from Year 1 who have tried really hard with all of the Sports Week Challenges whilst they have been at home.

In RE Year 1 looked at who our global neighbours are. We met a girl called Marie-Doriane from Rwanda, and we looked at how our lives were similar and different to Marie-Doariane’s life. The children in Bubble 1 and Bubble 2 worked really hard on this task and we were so proud of how respectful they were of the differences in culture and lifestyle that they observed between their lives and Marie-Doriane’s life. They showed that they really are our global citizens of the future.

A shout out to Ella for working hard on her counting and numbers this week with Mrs Hewitt and Mrs Knight.
Alfie tried so hard with his reading this week. He has been reading daily with Mrs Oliver on this and he has really impressed her with how hard he is trying.

Dylan won two trophies this weekend. One for playing for Stoke Golding U7s,

The other for most improved player. 😀 Well done Dylan!

Joshua won this trophy for playing for Stoke Golding U7s. They had a zoom football awards presentation. 😃 Well done Joshua!

At the weekend George had his football presentation evening via Zoom. He received this trophy and is extremely proud! ⚽ Well done George!
A big high five to Dawid for completing National School Sport Week at Home every day this week and taking part in some great activities with Oskar!
A shout out goes to Jacob from Year 3 for always being thoughtful, understanding and considerate towards others. And for always working so hard. Well done!
Eva Joan from Year 4 has produced some great work this week, she even had a special visitor in her garden.

A St. Peter's 'Happy Birthday cha cha cha' to:

George from Year 2 who has a birthday on Monday

Noah from Reception and Rocky from Year 5 who both have birthdays on Thursday!
