Physical Activity

Our physical activities this week are with 'Disney Family.' Today we are off on an adventure to Neverland with Peter Pan. Click on the red link below the picture to access the activity.

Literacy Lesson

This week in Literacy we are going to be thinking about our model text, which was the report on the Royal Ball that you started to look at last week. In today's lesson we are going to think about creating a text map to help us retell the report. You will need a copy of the text, a text map frame and a copy of my text map. These are all posted below. You can print the text map frame out if you wish or you could draw one out - whichever works best for you.

Maths Lesson

Today in Maths we are still working with numbers to 20. Building on from Friday's work where you were comparing groups of objects, today we are going to be comparing different numbers. You can access the video lesson and the resources by clicking the links below.

If you find that your child is able to access today's Maths confidently, let them try the Gold Maths Challenge below which has a range of reasoning questions related to our Numbers to 20 Maths topic.

The Gold Maths Challenge

If you complete today's Maths work and you want another challenge have a go at doing some of our 'Ultimate Disney Maths Challenge' reasoning questions by clicking on the link below. There are 14 questions all related to our topic of 'Numbers to 20'. Try doing 2 or 3 of those each day as an extra challenge

5 Minute Mindfulness Meditation

Take a few moments today for this Mindfulness Meditation activity. We always start every afternoon with some meditation just to help us, relax, focus and turn off from the business of the day for a few minutes. Click on the red link below to access the meditation.

History Lesson

Today in History we are starting our brand new topic all about 'Kings & Queens.' Today we will be finding out what a monarch is, and what kinds of things a monarch does. You will also think about the qualities needed to be a good monarch. On Friday lots of you made a royal crown, and you might want to wear that for today's History lesson and activity!
